Macedon Ranges Field Naturalists would like to invite you to a walk along Quarry Road, Woodend on Sunday 8th October 2023 at 10am. We will be attempting to identify and discuss the flora along the roadside which should include wildflowers such as lilies and orchids plus grassland herbs, grasses and others.
This will not be a guided walk but we will have some knowledgeable members in attendance.
Please meet in front of Woodend Cycles, 68 High St, Woodend VIC 3442 at 10am
We recommend wearing sturdy fully enclosed shoes on this walk. Woodend can also be cold in October so a jacket may be needed.
