Mount Macedon Fungi Ramble #2

Due to the popularity of last Sunday’s Mount Macedon Fungi Ramble, Greg has kindly offered to run another event this Sunday at 2 pm.  After the rain this week, we think the fungi will put on a good show for us.

All are welcome to join the Macedon Ranges Field Naturalists and local fungi enthusiast Greg Boldiston for a ramble around Sanitorium Lake. After a short discussion, we will take a stroll around the lake to take in the great diversity of fungi in the area.

Greg shares some useful resources for fungi identification. Greg started the popular Macedon Ranges Fungi, Flora and Fauna Facebook Page. Also worth checking out is Wombat Forestcare’s excellent guide to help identify local fungi, available here.

When: Sunday 25 April 2021, 2 pm – 5 pm
